Travel Pack

There’s the two-finger Jeep wave, and the motorcycle dropped-hand wave. Cotopaxi owners have a knowing-smile-head-nod as we hustle our way through the airport.

I use this as my personal item. When packed in a way that doesn’t greatly distort its shape, it has fit under the seats of all the flights I’ve been on so far. I keep the things I might need during the flight in the top compartment. I can access them by pulling the pack up to me slightly, then do a foot-operated tuck and shove motion to put it back under the seat.

The 4 grab handles and multiple lashing points give you lots of options for external storage. My newest trick is to lash my CushionLab seat cushion to the outside. Even with the cushion strapped to the pack it will still go through the X-ray machine, no problems. I’d had my pack hand-searched several times and I haven’t had any TSA problems with the cushion itself. I guarantee I have the happiest butt on the flight and it greatly improves any uncomfortable AirBnB seating too!
