Aside from the good reviews this trunk has on Amazon, I chose this for its ample sticker real estate.
My wife occasionally asks me if I have room for something, and I reply “yep, I have room, but I don’t know if I have room.”, meaning it’s easy to load this thing beyond an airline’s weight limits. I have to keep that in mind when I’m souvenir shopping.
The best method I’ve found for getting stickers to survive the luggage handling:
- Get some 3M Super 77 or Gorilla Heavy Duty spray adhesive
- Spray a layer of glue on the trunk and the sticky side of the sticker
- Wait 30 seconds or so for the glue to get tacky
- Slap the sticker on and let the glue dry
- Seal the sticker with a few layers of dishwasher safe ModPodge
